A. FRED WILLIAMSON CUP MATCHES

|The 2018 Williamson Cup will be held at St. Clair Country Club and hosted by the Pennsylvania Golf Association. The Williamson Cup was initiated in 1964 with teams from five state and regional golf associations competing. In 2001, the first year that the Pennsylvania Golf Association competed in the event, it was expanded to 11 teams. The event is held annually and travels from one state or regional golf association to another. Team Pennsylvania captured the title in 2003.|
|The format is 36-holes stroke play in one day. Each team has 4 players and the low 3 scores of each round are totaled.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Monday, August 13 - Practice Round p.m. - Players Dinner p.m.
Tuesday, August 14 - First Round a.m. - Second Round p.m.
Tuesday, August 14 - Awards Dinner p.m.

|In the event of a tie, a sudden death play-off is held. All 4 player’s scores count in the play-off. There is no play-off for the Medalist Plaque.|
