US Women’s Mid-Amateur Returns to Pennsylvania Saturday

Elverson, Pa.- The 36th US Women’s Mid-Amateur returns to Pennsylvania on Saturday at the North Course at Stonewall in Elverson, Pa. 132 competitors age 25 and over will compete September 9-14 with 18-holes of stroke play on Saturday and Sunday. The lowest 36-hole scores will compose the match play field of 64 players beginning Monday and concluding with the championship match on Thursday. The Stonewall North Course will be played at 5920 yards, Par 71.

Pennsylvania will be well-represented in the field with 11 players from the Keystone State. They are Isabella DiLisio (Hatfield), Catherine Elliott (Philadelphia), Kate Evanko (West Chester), Erica Herr (New Hope), Katie Miller (Oakmont), Kristina Ortiz (Morrisville), Jackie Rogowicz (Yardley), Kate Scarpetta (Crystal Lake), Libbie Warner (Haverford), Allison Wix (Harrisburg), and Katrin Wolfe (Johnstown).

Stonewall hosted the US Men’s Mid-Amateur in 2016 and has hosted several other championships, including the 2003 Pennsylvania Open.
