 Overview
The Senior Four-Ball Championship was separated from the Four-Ball Championship in 2005 to allow more Senior Amateur’s the chance to compete in this event. The Championship will also have a Super-Senior Division for a team with both members age 65 and over. Teams may ONLY play in the Senior Four-Ball or The Super-Senior Four-Ball, NOT both.
 Format
36-hole four-ball stroke play competition.
 Eligibility
The Senior Four-Ball Championship is open to any male amateur golfer, 55 years of age and over as of Aug. 31, who is member of a club belonging to the Pennsylvania Golf Association or an individual member of the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Players need not be members of the same club.

The Super-Senior Four-Ball Championship is open to any male amateur golfer, 65 years of age and over as of Aug. 31, who is member of a club belonging to the Pennsylvania Golf Association or an individual member of the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Players need not be members of the same club.

Competitors are limited to playing in one division.
At time of entry, one player from the side will complete the entire entry process. That player will need the partner’s GHIN number or User ID. If unsure of that information, please contact the golf office at 610-687-2340 x19.

 Field
Selection of the field will be based on the 46 lowest combined indexes for the Senior Division and 26 lowest combined indexes in the Super-Senior Division as of Aug. 17. All indexes must be valid. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on the entry closing date. Entry fee for the Senior better-ball is $350 per team, which must accompany the entry.
 Pairings
Players who have been accepted as participants in Pennsylvania Golf Association championships will receive event information concerning course assignment, practice rounds, pairings, and starting times approximately 10 days prior to the event. If you have not received your information seven days prior to the event, it is your responsibility to contact the Pennsylvania Golf Association. Information can also be found at www.pagolf.org.
 Starting Times
The PAGA staff, following as closely as practical the preferences indicated on the entry blanks will determine pairings and tee times. Contestants will be notified of starting times by email. The "Official Time" will be maintained at the starting tee(s) only. Starters will not page players in advance of their starting time.  Prizes
The team with the lowest gross score after 36-holes will be declared the Senior Four-Ball Champions. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top 5 places.

 Ties
In the event of a tie for the Senior Four-Ball Championship there will be a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play Tuesday afternoon. All other ties will be broken by matching scorecards in accordance with USGA guidelines.
