2025 Annual Meeting

New officers and Executive Committee members approved for 2026

A new slate of officers and three new members were approved for 2026 at the recent Fall Executive Committee meeting of the Pennsylvania Golf Association (PAGA). The meeting was held in conjunction with the Annual meeting at West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill.

Jeff Ranck (Bucknell Golf Club) was elected as the organization’s 106th president replacing Annie Vanzant (Valley Brook Country Club). Vanzant served as the president since 2023. In the role, Ranck will serve as head of PAGA’s Administrative Committee and work closely with Executive Director Jason Barkley. Other officers chosen included John Marous (Pittsburgh Field Club), vice president, Bill Davis (Aronimink Golf Club), treasurer, and Jim Hollister (Golf Club at Frosty Valley), secretary.

Also, along with other business items on the agenda, was the approval of three new Executive Committee members. Jim Beck (Hannastown Golf Club), Glenn Meyer (Huntingdon Valley Country Club) and Jeff Troutman (Longue Vue Club) joined the organization’s leadership. They replace outgoing members Jeffrey Hall (Merion Golf Club), Jim Hargraves (Sunnehanna Country Club), and Amy Kennedy (Country Club of York).

       

Beck, a long-time board member of the Western Pennsylvania Golf Association (WPGA), served as the WPGA’s president in 2023. He is a certified rules official and course rater. Meyer, a current USGA committee member, just finished a term with the Golf Association of Philadelphia’s (GAP) Executive Committee and is a top-rated rules official having worked many USGA championships. Troutman also has a long relationship with the WPGA through his affiliation with several clubs and has worked as a course rater. 

Other members of the PAGA Executive Committee for 2026 include; Mike Betts (Longue Vue Club), John Choyka (Indian Valley Country Club), Bob Ford (Oakmont Country Club), Pat Hughes Gelardi (Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club), Kevin McBride (Lancaster Country Club), Gene Olinger (PAGA Individual Member) and Jim Parsons (Carlisle Country Club).
