Initial 2026 Entries Open on February 9 Get ready to play golf! Initial entries for the 2026 Pennsylvania Golf Association (PAGA) season open next week. Applications for the George Dressler Memorial Championship and the Pennsylvania Senior Open Championship—as well as three qualifiers for the Senior Open—will be accepted beginning Monday, February 9, at 9 a.m. The Dressler, now in its 85th year, will again serve as the season-opening championship and will be hosted by the Out Door Country Club in York, Pa., April 28–29. The club, which has facilitated many state and USGA qualifiers over the years, will host its first PAGA championship event in 10 years. The last PAGA event played at Out Door, in 2016, was the Pennsylvania Men’s Four-Ball Championship. Zach Herr (Jericho National Golf Club) and Jake Reilly (Hershey Country Club) captured the title. The duo sealed an exciting finish when Reilly’s six-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole secured that season’s state Four-Ball Championship. The Club at Nevillewood will host the 6th Pennsylvania Senior Open Championship. The tournament, held in Presto, Pa., will take place May 11–12. This will be the club’s seventh Pennsylvania state championship. The most recent state-championship event there occurred in 2023, when current reigning PAGA Senior Player of the Year Rick Stimmel (Connoquenessing Country Club) captured the Senior Amateur title. Entries for the three qualifying events for the Senior Open will also open on February 9. The one-day, 18-hole qualifiers are scheduled for April 14 at The 1912 Club in Plymouth Meeting, and April 30 at Willowbrook Country Club in Apollo and Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon. Additional entry dates occur in March for the Men’s and Women’s Four-Ball (March 16) and the boys’ and girls’ junior championships (March 28). Entries for the remainder of the 2026 season open April 1.
