2025 4-Ball Day 2 Recap men

Winston Blank and Thomas Yound Win 35th Men's Four-Ball

Scores

YORK, Pa. - It was going to take an incredible performance to claim medalist honors at the Pennsylvania Golf Association's (PAGA) 35th Men's Four Ball Championship at the Country Club of York on Tuesday afternoon, with just one stroke separating the leaders from those teams chasing them in the final round. One team, who was three strokes back to begin the day, answered the call.

The Saucon Valley Country Club duo of Winston Blank and Thomas Young charged up the leaderboard to finish 10-under (14-under for the tournament) and win by a stroke. The duo's win was the third consecutive for teams from Saucon Valley Country Club after Anthony Cordaro and Evan Eichenlaub's back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024.

Blank birdied the first hole and Young eagled No. 2 to get the pair firing early and they kept the momentum throughout the round. Blank carded an eagle of his own on the 14th hole and the only blemish on the scorecards was bogey from both players on the 15th. Young sank what would eventually become a championship-winning birdie on 18, as the one-stroke advantage held off challengers Grant Skyllas and Jake Haberstumpf from LedgeRock Golf Club and round one leaders Kevin P. O'Brien and Christian Matt from Cedarbrook Country Club -- with both teams finishing one back at 13-under for the championship.

Skyllas and Haberstumpf now add a runner-up finish in addition to their third-place finish from a year ago in this event, while O'Brien and Matt only carded a single bogey (on the 15th hole in the final round) and played impressive golf all week.

The top five teams for the week also included two tied for fourth place at 11-under: Bent Creek Country Club's Andrew Bilson and Logan Wagner as well as the team of Peyton Mussina (Williamsport CC) and Logan Paczewski (Huntsville GC).

Next up on the PAGA schedule is a pair of Amateur Championship qualifiers: on June 18 at Elmhurst Country Club and June 19th at Out Door Country Club.

The Pennsylvania Golf Association would like to thank the staff and membership of the Country Club of York for the hospitality shown during this week's Championship. Additional thanks go to DICK’S Sporting Goods for sponsorship of the event as the title sponsor of the PAGA.
