CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Qualifying for the Pennsylvania Golf Association’s (PAGA) 113th Amateur Championship continued on Monday at Chambersburg Country Club, with 12 total players from the Central Region earning spots in the prestigious field. The 2026 Amateur Championship is scheduled to take place on July 27-29 at Oakmont Country Club. Monday’s group of qualifiers was headlined by a trio of finishers tying for the top spot on the leaderboard after shooting scores of three-under-par 70: Mason Wills (Iron Valley GC), Grayson Hopple (Chambersburg CC), and Davis Conaway (Fieldstone GC). Wills birdied five holes on the day (No. 4, 5, 10, 17, and 18), as did Conaway – who birdied 4, 9, 12, 16, and 17.) Hopple birdied six holes (2, 6, 10, 13, 17, and 18), tying with seventh-place Ian Patterson for the most birdies amongst all competitors on the day. Past the leaders, another group of three players tied for fourth place at 71 (-2) which included Logan Hess (Crossgates GC), Nicholas Pisarski (The 1912 Club), and Patrick Carl (Holly Hills CC.)
